Q.  How far in advance should I order my wedding cake?

A.  Designing your wedding cake is a pleasant and yummy experience. You will have several consultations with me as the design of your dream cake progresses, including sampling of our cake menu.  Under normal circumstances, I start working on a cake a few months before your big day. Do not hesitate to contact me as soon as your date is set.    

Q.  How is a cake design done?
A.  A cake will be 100% tailored to your event. You will have several consultations with me: in person, by email or over the phone. We also offer sampling of our cake menu.  When designing a cake, I take into consideration your wedding theme, colour, time of the year and a venue where your wedding will take place. Pictures of cakes you like can also be a good reference for me of your taste and style. Based on this information, I offer you several designs that can be further refined according to your feedback. 

Q. I am planning a small wedding, but I would like a big cake to impress my guests and to look great on my pictures. What can you do for me?
A. We have an excellent no waste budget solution for you: a great looking cake with artificial tier.  A spectacular multi-layer cake will have a fake tier and a few real ones that you can cut and feed to your guests.   Your guests will be amazed and no one will ever know your secrete. 

Q.  How do I get a quote for the cake?
A.  Wedding cakes are special creations. All cakes are individually priced, depending on their size, flavour and decoration.  A final price will be determined after a consultation with you. To get a ballpark quote, please include the following information: 
        ·         Pick up or delivery date
        ·         Number of guests 
        ·         Cake and filling flavours 
        ·         Reference to the cake you like on my site or picture of the cake you have from somewhere else

Q.  We are very busy planning our big day and already have chosen the design of our wedding cake; can we order our cake fast?

A.  I offer convenient and time saving way of ordering your cake: you choose the design from my website or send me a picture of the cake you like and we negotiate the details over the email or phone.  If you like, you can come and pick up cake samples of your choice and drop off your colour samples and ribbons.

Q.  Are there appointments available?

A.   I offer complimentary wedding appointments, where you can taste my mouth-watering cakes and discuss design ideas. An appointment usually lasts one hour.

Q.  How to place an order?
A.     The following usually takes place before your order is finalized:
        ·         We discussed your cake design and it is 90% finalized
        ·         You sampled my cakes and picked the flavour
        ·         You place 30% deposit and I reserve your order in my calendar
        ·        You can cancel your order up to two months of your event and get 100% deposit back.
        ·         Deposits are not refundable two months prior to your event

Q.  When my cake has to be paid in full?

A.  Your order has to be paid in full two weeks before the wedding date. Once the cake is paid in full the work is in progress and there are no refunds.  

Q.  What if my wedding date is rescheduled?

A.  You can reschedule. You have to notify me of your new date at least two weeks prior to the event and I will check for availability.

Q.  Do you deliver?
A.  Yes, we deliver and set up a cake for you. There is an extra charge for delivery that is based on the location of your event.

Q.  Can I pick up my cake?
A.  Yes and it will be securely packaged in the box for you to pick it up.

Q.  How can I pay for the cake?
A.  We accept payments by cash, personal cheque, INTERAC Email Money
